The majority wish for fame, fortune, and love, but then there are others who wish for happiness. Happiness comes only when the individual is content with themselves, however there are only a few who are completely comfortable in their own skin.
Those who are on the other end of the stick are in a state of “brokenness,” with pieces of themselves split in different timeframes, places and in the “possession” of other individuals who should not even own that part of the person. Happiness is only achieved when a person has gained all those parts back into one place, inside themselves. The steps to achieve this feat is not fixed, but there are a few tips and actions a person can follow to reach that state of mind and spirituality.
The first step towards recovery is to state the obvious out loud to yourself (or write it down somewhere), where are your parts and what are they doing there? Who put those parts where they are, you or someone else? Why did you leave them there and why are they still in the same places that you left them in? Once you’ve recognized where they are, the rest of the recovery steps will easily fall into place.
Once the locations have been identified, the next step is obvious - go to these locations and retrieve your parts. These are essential parts to all human souls, if a soul is split then the mind is split and will never move forward. Ironically, to move forward, you must briefly visit the past and recover the missing spots you left behind. Go to every location that has left an imprinting memory that cannot be forgotten. Once the location has been reached, sit there, reminisce, ask yourself “why is this memory significant?”, “what has it done to change me, for the good or for the better?”
A reassuring piece of advice that every person wants to hear is this; it’s ok to cry. It’s ok to scream and yell, “Why? Why did this happen?” But keep in mind, that these “whys?” must be answered to let go, so when a person screams “why me?”, answer it at the same moment. It’s ok to curse in your writing, at least in writing only few will read what you wrote, and you will choose who will read it, should you want to let others to read your writing.
And finally, after you’ve collected your parts, it’s time to sew them together again. Be active to your state of mind. Read inspiration quotes like, “Everything happens for a reason” or “if you want to be happy, be.” These cliches and cheesy sayings that we’ve heard repeatedly have a way to creeping into our unconscious state of mind that essentially affects our conscious way of thinking. If you let happiness seep into your id, then your superego will be boosted. And to let happiness in, a person must let the cracks come out, so cry. Cry for everything and cry for nothing. Cry for the parts that will be sewn together and cry for it being apart in the first place.
